First Radio Job & Radio Career details: I graduated from Recording Arts Canada in 2004 with a certification in Sound & Music Recording & Engineering. I came back to Merced in 2005 and first started in radio with Buckley Broadcasting that year. That was KHTN (Hot 104.7) and KUBB (Kubb Country 96.3). In 2008, I transferred to Mapleton Communications (Radio Merced) with 92.5 The Bear, 106.3 The Hippo, 97.5 KABX, 1480 KYOS & 98.7 Radio Lobo. I started on overnights, then weekends, then mornings, then middays… I’ve been on the air on 105.7 The Bear from 10am – 3pm for over 10 years now. Stephens Media Group bought our stations in 2021 and has over 70+ stations nationwide. I am currently the Operations Manager for all 6 stations here at Radio Merced.
Interests/Hobbies: Going to Concerts & Festivals (over 500+ shows since 1997) Soccer, Snowboarding, PC Gaming, Pinball, Golfing, Frisbee Golf, Listening to records, Walking our dogs by the creek…
First job: Cleaning rental wheelchairs, hospital beds & medical equipment at Valley Health Care Supply in Merced…
One thing listeners would be surprised to learn about you: I worked landscaping & built fences with Fenceline construction during the day as I worked overnights & got my start in radio.

Favorite All-Time Movies: I still have my original VHS’ of Happy Gilmore, Dumb & Dumber and Up In Smoke… I love comedies of all eras & styles, cheesy 80’s flicks… but I also love documentaries, horror films, indie films and anything in the Criterion Collection.
Favorite Current Movies: Hereditary, Barbarian, Turn It Around: Story Of East Bay Punk, Parasite, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.
